Project Overview
In summer 2026, Sanderfoot Wind turned to Williams Form Engineering to supply foundation bolt assemblies for a project featuring GE 2.8 MW wind turbines. The project required high-strength, precision-manufactured components and coordinated deliveries to support a demanding construction schedule.
Williams supplied #11 Grade 80 foundation bolts, hex nuts, hardened washers, and PVC sleeves for the turbine foundations.
The Challenge
The construction schedule required deliveries to support 12 foundations per week, with a short lead time between receipt of the purchase order and the start of deliveries.
Meeting that pace required close coordination between manufacturing and shipping. Foundation bolt assemblies needed to arrive on time to keep foundation construction moving and prevent material availability from disrupting the schedule.
