29 YEARS OF SERVICE

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the well-deserved retirement of our Executive Vice President, Tom Bird. Through his 29 years of dedicated service, Tom has made an incredible impact on our team and organization. His work ethic, expertise, and commitment to excellence have been truly inspiring, and we are fortunate to have had him as a part of our team for so long.

Tom started his career with Williams in 1996 as the Rocky Mountain Territory Sales Engineer.  Over the years he advanced to lead the sales force as the Vice President of Sales, and then broadened his scope company wide when he became our Executive Vice President.  Throughout his tenure he spent time heavily involved in ADSC as part of the Rocky Mountain Chapter and eventually  serving on the Executive Committee of ADSC as Chairman of the Associate Members Committee for 4 years.  He was also instrumental in multiple FHWA/ADSC Hollow Bar studies. He also served as a committee member of PTI Prestressed Rock & Soil Anchor Committee.

Tom has been more than just a colleague – he has been a mentor to many of us. His willingness to share his knowledge, offer guidance, and support others in their professional growth has left a lasting legacy. Tom’s wisdom, patience, and ability to lead by example have shaped countless careers and helped create a positive, collaborative work environment. We will certainly miss his presence, but his influence will continue to resonate with us for years to come.

As Tom steps into this next exciting chapter of his life, we want to express our deepest appreciation for all his contributions. We know that retirement will bring new adventures and well-deserved relaxation, and we wish him nothing but the best. Tom, thank you for your dedication, mentorship, and friendship – you will be greatly missed, and your impact on our team will never be forgotten.
