This November, Williams is proud to honor Gricelda Casillas-Ramirez, a valued team member at our Wayne, Nebraska facility, as she celebrates 10 years with the company. Gricelda’s versatility, steady leadership, and commitment to doing quality work have made her an essential part of our operations—and a respected colleague across the plant.
A Career Built on Growth and Learning
Before joining Williams, Gricelda spent 16 years at Michael’s Foods, working her way through a wide range of roles and learning everything the company had to offer. But after more than a decade and a half, she felt the need for new challenges and opportunities.
“I didn’t want to remain stagnant,” she shares. “I love learning, and I can continue doing that here at Williams.”
That desire for growth is part of what has made Gricelda so successful. From day one, she embraced every opportunity to expand her skills, take on new responsibilities, and become someone the team can depend on in almost any situation.
A Role That Evolves Day to Day
Gricelda’s contributions span far beyond a single job title. On any given day, she may be working as a saw operator, assembling components, or stepping in to supervise our hardware area.
Her adaptability and willingness to jump wherever she’s needed make her a tremendous asset to the Wayne facility. And regardless of the task, her mindset stays consistent:
“No matter where I am, I strive to create work that I am proud of every day.”
This dedication shows in her work—and in the example she sets for others on the floor.
Pride Beyond the Workplace
When asked about her greatest achievement, Gricelda doesn’t hesitate: it’s her children.
“They are wonderful kids, but most importantly, they have kind hearts,” she says. “I’m already so proud of them, and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them.”
Family is a central part of Gricelda’s life, and her pride in her children reflects the same values she brings to work—care, commitment, and doing things the right way.
More Than Manufacturing: Life Outside Williams
When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Gricelda outside tending to her garden. Gardening gives her the chance to unwind, enjoy the weather, and spend time doing something that brings her happiness. She also offers a simple but meaningful piece of advice for others:
“Have a good time. Life is too brief to not enjoy it to the fullest.”
It’s a reminder she lives by, and one that resonates with her colleagues.

- She’s a true fruit enthusiast, always ready to try something new and has yet to meet a fruit she doesn’t like.
- One of her dreams is to explore more of her home country of Mexico with her wife, especially the beautiful region of Michoacán.
