2 Decades of Dedication – Chris Dives
This month, Williams is proud to celebrate a major milestone for one of our long-time team members. On November 28th, Chris Dives marks 20 years with Williams, a remarkable achievement that reflects his loyalty, hard work, and commitment to doing things the right way, day after day.
Based out of our Golden, Colorado location, Chris has become a trusted and steady presence in our Shipping Department, helping keep the flow of materials and finished goods moving smoothly for two decades.
A Journey Built on Hard Work and Hands-On Skills
Chris’s story with Williams began 20 years ago, when he first joined the company helping with moving furniture. Shortly after, he transitioned into the warehouse, a shift that opened the door to years of growth, learning, and hands-on experience.
Over two decades, Chris has steadily expanded his skill set. He has learned to operate forklifts, mastered overhead crane operation, and developed strong computer skills to handle the digital side of shipping and receiving. His willingness to learn and adapt has made him a critical part of the Golden warehouse team.
Day-to-Day Contributions That Keep Us Moving
In his role today, Chris handles a wide range of responsibilities that ensure the Golden facility continues running efficiently. His daily work includes:
- Unloading trucks
- Unloading inbound materials
- Pulling and preparing orders for shipment
- Managing shipping and receiving tasks through PC systems
His reliability and depth of experience make him a go-to colleague and an anchor of the department.
A Mechanical Mind Outside the Warehouse
Outside of work, Chris continues to put his mechanical skills to good use. He enjoys building and riding his own custom bicycles, a hobby that blend
s creativity, craftsmanship, and pure hands-on fun. Whether it’s fabricating a unique frame or tweaking components for the perfect ride, Chris approaches his projects with the same dedication he brings to Williams.
And if you’re ever grabbing a meal with him, you’ll likely find him choosing Mexican food, his favorite.
