Williams steel bearing plates are standard with a round hole for non-grouted anchors. Also available are dished plates for use with spherical hex nuts and keyhole plates which provide free access for grout tube entry. Bearing plates are customized for each application. Plate dimensions should be specified around the parameters of the project. In addition, corrosion protection should be considered along with specifying hole diameter and bar angle. Stainless steel plates available upon request.
End Caps

Williams offers end caps produced from fiber reinforced nylon, steel or PVC to provide corrosion protection at otherwise exposed anchor ends. Most often the caps are packed with corrosion inhibiting wax or grease. Caps made from reinforced nylon and steel are used in exposed impact areas. The fiber reinforced nylon end cap meets the Florida DOT standards.

Spiral Rebar The compressive strength of the concrete in the local zone (area directly under the bearing plate) can be enhanced when necessary by use of lateral confinement of spiral reinforcement. The rebar spirals are available in #3 through #5 diameters of Grade 60 Rebar and made to the project design requirements for diameter, pitch, and length. They are also available with or without a deformation pattern.
R82 Galvanized Metal Corrugated Duct - ASTM A653
Galvanized Metal Corrugated Duct Williams Galvanized Spiral Metal Duct or High Density Polyethylene Duct meets all physical and structural recommendations for post tensioning duct as laid down by the Post Tensioning Institute (of the United States). The Duct is available in 2”, 3”, and 4” diameter with couplings and reducer couplings for all sizes.
R75 Polypropylene & Polyethylene Corrugated Duct
Polypropylene Corrugated Duct The stable characteristics of Williams polypropylene & polyethylene duct are normally preferred where additional corrosion protection is desirable. Polypropylene Duct has been approved by the Florida DOT for internal tendons and is available in 2-3/8” diameter. Polyethylene Duct is available in 2”, 3”, and 4” diameter. Couplings and reducer couplings are available for all sizes.
S5Z Wil-X Cement Grout
Conforms to ASTM C 845-76 T
Wil-X is chemically compensated for shrinkage. It has a high bond value and is crack resistant for permanent installations. Because it is a cement-grout, it is non-explosive and has a long shelf life when kept dry.
Wil-X may be used to build up leveling pads by simply mixing with sand or pea gravel. This mixture should not be run through the grout pump.
Setting Time: Gilmore Needles (ASTM C 266). Initial set 45 minutes; final set 10 hours.
Comparative compressive strength test in PSI (modified ASTM C 109)* 3 days in moist air / 4 days in water = 2800 PSI.) Actual strengths as mixed according to Williams instructions range from 6,000 to 9,000 PSI depending on water content.
