Stressing Chairs - RSXSCTK

Strand Stressing Chair

The stressing Chair utilizes a threaded keeper plate to adjust to an applicable distance for 2-part and 3-part wedge sets. The stressing chair assembly can be used for proof testing of the strand anchor assembly, incremental lock-off loading, or typical installation loading.

Stressing Heads - RSXSHPK

Strand Stressing Head

The stressing head applies a temporary stressing force to the tendon and maintains the load until the lock-off load is transferred to the anchor head. The stressing head assembly should be used in all applications to insure uniform strand tension. Anti-seize compound is available to assist stressing head release.

Post-Grout Tube

Post-Grout Tube

Williams will provide post-grout tubes for anchors bonded in weak rock or soil upon request. The Williams supplied flexible post-grout tube has a bursting strength of 1000 psi. The post-grout tube length and valve placement are adjustable and can be specified at the time of order. There is no field assembly of the post grout tube, other than attaching it to the anchor as it is being installed down the drill hole.
