The Rocky Mountain Hydro project consists of a powerhouse an a series of dams constructed on the Armuchee River to provide electricity and drinking water to residents of North Georgia. Power Plant Constructors of Boise, Idaho was awarded the contract by Oglethorpe Power. Williams shebolts, brackets, wing nuts, pigtail anchors, coil rod, stop-type couplers and other heavy form hardware items were used in cantilever forming, one-sided forming off the rock and other unique situations to form the massive concrete required in the powerhouse and dams. In addition, Williams rock anchors were used in the tower crane foundations.
