A new 12 million ton movable tower was build on an existing concrete foundation replacing an outdated smaller tower used to launch the Titan Missile. Additional reinforcement was needed in the concrete foundation pad to support the weight of the new launch tower. Twenty-five 2" high tensile Spin-Lock anchors were installed horizontally in two opposite sides (50 anchors total) to serve as the additional reinforcement needed. The anchors were installed 6 feet into the foundation using only a hand powered torque wrench with multiplier to set and tension them.
